Therefore, the large exhaust port cannot automatically open the exhaust and lose its exhaust function in the slug flow state.
2> Small exhaust ports generally have a diameter of 3-5mm and can only provide minimal exhaust. If the performance of the large exhaust port is poor, relying solely on micro hole exhaust is extremely dangerous for large diameter water pipes.

Or in other words, the valve can achieve high-speed discharge upon seeing air and close upon seeing water, and can continuously discharge a large amount of air multiple times. The main characteristics of this type of exhaust valve structure are: the effective exhaust diameter of the large or small exhaust port or only the large exhaust port is not less than 70% to 80% of the nominal diameter of the exhaust valve, the exhaust diameter is large, the exhaust speed is fast, and high-speed exhaust can be achieved in any situation.
Generally, designers calculate the exhaust volume based on the nominal diameter of the exhaust valve when selecting it. Cylinder type exhaust valves can meet design requirements and truly prevent water hammer and pipe bursting in pipelines.
