Later on, in terms of molding process, the fluorine lined butterfly valve adopts hot melt technology. The raw materials are placed in the mold and heated together with the mold in a high-temperature furnace. After the raw materials are heated to melt, the mold is taken out and pressed into shape in the next press; The PTFE lined butterfly valve, on the other hand, adopts low-pressure sintering technology. First, the raw materials are placed in a mold, compacted by a press, and the workpiece is taken out and put into a sintering furnace for heating and sintering. After forming, it also needs to be machined by a machine tool to complete the production of accessories.
These three differences also make butterfly valves in PTFE lined valves significantly different from those in fluorine lined valves, and the resulting effects are also different.
