However, due to certain defects in F3, its application is not very widespread. Although F4 has strong corrosion resistance and is widely used as a sealing ring, packing, etc. in valves, as a metal lining with complex geometric shapes, its process problems are difficult to solve. Some units have used the F4 thin-walled loose lining method, but this can only be used for some simple cylindrical parts and cannot be slightly negative pressure during use. There are also some F4 tubular clamp valves, which often have a shorter service life due to insufficient heat generation in their design. It can be seen that China still needs to put more effort into the application of PTFE lined valve materials in order to develop more durable and anti-corrosion valves.
