Several points to pay attention to when operating PTFE lined valves

Many companies are making purchases PTFE lined valve Later, due to unfamiliarity with the performance of the transmission device of this valve, the operator was unable to correctly identify the opening direction of the valve switch, as well as the signal of the valve sign and indicator light. As a result, the valve cannot be used correctly, which indirectly affects the service life of pipelines and PTFE lined valves, leading to a decline in production efficiency. We know that this type of valve is operated and adjusted using a handwheel, which may seem simple, but there are still a few points to note:

1. PTFE lined gate valves and PTFE lined globe valves cannot be used for throttling purposes, as this can cause serious damage to the flushing plate and sealing surface, resulting in vibration and leakage.
When opening the PTFE lined valve, it should be slowly opened to avoid water hammer and damage to the medium pipeline.
3. When operating the handle, use your hands to operate it and avoid using tools such as levers or wrenches to prevent damage to valve components.
4. The opening and closing direction of PTFE lined valves is a very important issue to pay attention to. Under normal circumstances, counterclockwise indicates opening, while clockwise indicates closing.
5. When closing the fluorine lined valve, it is better to wait for the temperature to drop before closing to avoid deformation of the lining.
