Unlike traditional valves that allow for bidirectional flow of fluid media, this type of valve only allows for unidirectional flow of the medium and prevents fluid from flowing in the opposite direction. This type of valve usually works automatically, and under the pressure of fluid flowing in one direction, the valve disc of the valve will be opened; When the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the pressure of the fluid and the self weight of the valve disc act on the valve seat, thereby cutting off the flow and preventing the fluid from flowing in the opposite direction. The valve disc of a fluorine lined check valve is generally disc-shaped and rotates around the axis of the valve seat channel. Due to the streamlined flow channel inside the valve, the flow resistance is relatively low, and it is often used in large-diameter applications with low fluid flow rates and little variation in flow volume. However, its sealing performance is not as good as that of the lift type. Butterfly check valves can be divided into three types based on valve diameter: single disc, double disc, and half disc. The purpose of this classification is to prevent the fluid medium from stopping or flowing backwards, in order to reduce hydraulic shock.
