What overall considerations need to be taken into account for the installation of PTFE lined valves

     PTFE lined valve Also known as fluoroplastic lined corrosion-resistant valve, it is a valve made by molding polytetrafluoroethylene resin and placing it on the surface of the inner wall of steel or iron valve pressure parts.
1、 The installation of PTFE lined valves should consider the following aspects:
1. Safety: The safety of personnel and equipment during the installation process.
2. Installation location: Operators should have sufficient space for installation and ensure easy disassembly and maintenance of valves and accessories.
3. Installation personnel should understand that regulating valves are precision instruments and equipment that cannot be collided to avoid damage.
4. It should be installed vertically on the pipeline, and if there is a high self weight or vibration, support should be added.
2、 Before installing the PTFE lined valve in the pipeline, it is necessary to clean the valve body connection and the dirt and welding slag inside the pipeline.
3、 The flow direction of the medium is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.
4、 The gasket connected to the pipeline should not penetrate deep into the interior of the pipeline, and attention should be paid to the gasket material being suitable for the process medium.
5、 The valve flange bolts should be tightened evenly to avoid excessive pipeline pressure.
6、 The actuator has been assembled before leaving the factory and does not need to be adjusted during installation.
7、 Before installing the gas supply pipeline, compressed air should be introduced first to remove dirt from the pipe.
8、 Before operating the valve, if the manual mechanism is in operation, it should be turned to neutral, otherwise it will block the valve's movement.
