1、 Before installation
1. Ensure that the installation position of the fluorine lined butterfly valve and the position of the pipeline are coaxial, and the flanges on the left and right ends should be kept parallel.
2. The weight of the fluorine lined butterfly valve can be supported by the pipeline. If it cannot be supported, corresponding supports need to be installed.
3. Check the nameplate of the fluorine butterfly valve with lining, and perform several full open and full close operations to ensure that the valve can work normally. Then carefully inspect the details of the fluorine butterfly valve with lining to ensure that the valve is intact.
4. Remove the protective covers on both ends of the fluorine lined butterfly valve, and then clean the inside of the valve. Impurities in the pipeline should also be cleaned thoroughly.
2、 Installation
1. When installing bolts on flanges, they need to be tightened symmetrically, gradually, and evenly.
2. If pneumatic or electric actuators are used for butterfly valves, they need to be installed according to the instructions.
3. The fluorine lined butterfly valve can be installed at any upstream end of the pipeline, but the actuator needs to be installed vertically.
4. According to the requirements of the pipeline design, install a sealing gasket on the fluorine butterfly valve with lining.
3、 Inspection after installation
Open and close the valve several times to ensure flexible movement and even force distribution.
