Fluorine lined three-way ball valve It is a valve that can withstand strong corrosion, lined with fluoroplastic in conventional valves, which is a major feature of this valve. It is widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, and power.
Introduction to common types of PTFE lined valves
When using fluorine lined three-way ball valves, these precautions must be taken:
1. The temperature of the medium used for fluorine lined valves: The temperature of the medium used should not exceed 150 ℃ (the medium temperature can reach 150 ℃ for a short time, and the temperature should be controlled within 120 ℃ for a long time). Otherwise, the lining of each component of the valve is prone to softening and deformation, resulting in the valve not closing and a large leakage.
2. Do not have negative pressure. Fluorine lined valves should avoid using pipelines with negative pressure. If there is negative pressure, it can easily cause the fluorine lined plastic layer in the valve cavity to be sucked out (bulging) and peel off, resulting in valve opening and closing failures.
3. The pressure and pressure difference should be controlled within the allowable range. Especially for fluorine plastic lined regulating valves and globe valves sealed with corrugated pipes. Due to the fact that the corrugated tube is made of PTFE material, the pressure and pressure difference are large, which can easily cause the corrugated tube to rupture.
4. The medium conditions used for fluorine lined valves should not have hard particles, crystals, impurities, etc., in order to prevent the valve from grinding the fluorine lined plastic layer or PTFE corrugated pipe of the valve core and seat during opening and closing operation. When selecting media with hard particles, crystals, and impurities, the valve core and seat can be made of Hastelloy alloy.
